Welcome to the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center!

About us

The mission of the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) is to affirm the experiences of queer, trans, women, and fem undergraduate and graduate Princetonians by addressing institutional and societal systems of inequity via intentional programming, education, and advocacy initiatives.

We envision a Princeton University community of practice that affirms, uplifts, and celebrates queer, trans, women, and fem people and that actively resists sexism, cissexism, heteronormativity and other intersecting forms of oppression on campus and beyond.

Our Centers’ Core Values

  • We approach our work with a historical and intersectional analysis of discrimination and injustice to intentionally and equitably serve our campus community

  • We center the philosophy that there is no one way to be queer, trans, woman, and/or fem at Princeton

  • We recognize that everyone is at a different place in their learning process; thus, we actively embrace and support differences to authentically engage

  • We develop and sustain intentional partnerships, both inside and outside the university, to make our work more effective and impactful

  • We center the joy, care, and well-being of our community in all of our programming, education, and advocacy initiatives
