Welcome to the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center!

The mission of the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) is to foster a supportive and inclusive campus community that affirms women, fem, trans, and queer Princetonians. We achieve this goal by offering collaborative programming, education, advocacy, mentorship, and wellness initiatives that are open to all Princeton undergraduate and graduate students.

We envision a Princeton University community of practice that uplifts and celebrates women, fem, trans, and queer people and that actively resists sexism, cissexism, heteronormativity and other intersecting forms of oppression on campus and beyond.

About us

Our Center’s Core Values

  • We approach our work with a historical and intersectional analysis of discrimination and injustice to intentionally and equitably serve our campus community

  • We center the philosophy that there is no one way to be a woman, fem, queer, and/or trans person at Princeton

  • We recognize that everyone is at a different place in their learning process; thus, we actively embrace and support differences to authentically engage

  • We develop and sustain intentional partnerships, both inside and outside the university, to make our work more effective and impactful

  • We center the joy, care, and well-being of women, fem, queer, and trans communities in all of our programming, education, and advocacy initiatives

University Statement on Diversity and Non-discrimination
Princeton University is committed to equal opportunity and non-discrimination. To maximize excellence, we seek talent from all segments of American society and the world, and we take steps to ensure everyone at Princeton can thrive while they are here. That is the sole rationale and purpose of our diversity and inclusion programs, all of which are voluntary and open to all, and which comply with federal and state nondiscrimination laws. Princeton does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic, and Princeton does not provide special benefits or preferential treatment on the basis of a protected characteristic.
